Born in 2003, Stylejunkies provides national and global interactive website services. Set up by Director, Martina Johnson, the company reflects her broad knowledge of managing online content.
Johnson’s experience was gained in the Internet industry through online press and marketing at Cyberia Café, the first internet café in the UK. Later, with the development of a thriving dotcom industry, Johnson created and developed Cyberia Productions. This meant offering bespoke interactive services for clients including lastminute.com, MSN, Arcadia online (Topshop, Topman, Evans…), BowieNet.com, Zoom.co.uk, Lineone, Capital Radio, C&W and Interflora.
In 2000, Martina moved to the BBC as the Live Chat Producer for BBC Broadcast Online. Providing community services for the corporation and Radio 1 involved building and maintaining the BBC’s online community, the largest of its kind in Europe.
In 2001 Martina moved to Channel 4 as a Community Content Online Editor, before establishing Stylejunkies Ltd, with clients including the Department of Education (now the DCFS – Departments for Children Families and Schools), BBC, BDP Media, Scroll Ltd and Xedron Ltd.
